Brake Lines
Challenges: Leaks and failures, the most time-consuming element of brakes subsystem
Design Goals:  Balance cost, weight, and repairability
Design Specifications:
Stainless Steel hard lines through chassis
Earls Speed flex braided stainless flexible lines on corners
(18” front, 14” rear)
Chose pre-made hose as it was cheaper than speed-seal fittings, slightly lighter, and pre-pressure tested
This means the ends aren’t replaceable, but this was deemed low risk of failure as the fittings are stainless
Banjos in pedal box off master cylinder allowed for compact form factor for maximum longitudinal travel for driver height adjustment
